外国のテレビゲーム文化を調べるの好きなんだよね。
この動画は90年代だけど、2000年代のロシアはどんな感じだったんだろう……

私たちにはセガとデンディのゲーム機があり、マリオをプレイしていました。その後、コンピューターゲームセンターが登場し、学校の後、仲間たちと一緒にそこに行って、最も人気のあるゲームはカウンターストライク1.6でした。しかし、修道院で暮らしていたため、多くのことを見逃しました。私たちの修道院ではさえ電気がありませんでした。

電気すらない……！？
それは……ずいぶんと厳格な修道院だ。
CS1.6を遊ぶ青春って少し羨ましいな。あれは面白い。
PCのゲームが流行ったのはロシアと日本の違うところだね。こちらでは2000年代の後半までPCでゲームしてる人は珍しい存在だった。みんなPlayStationとかNintendoDSとか、ゲーム専用機で遊んでいたよ。
PSPも流行った。高校生のときに先生から隠れて遊んだんだ。男3人とか男4人でトイレの個室に籠もってモンスターハンターをしたものだよ。

はい、私の寺院は厳格でしたが、皆がお互いを大切にしていたので、温かい思い出として思い出しています。
今でもCS1.6をプレイしたい気持ちはあるけれど、もう腕が鈍ってしまいました。ちなみに、2015年には私たちの間ではWorld of Tanksが最も人気のあるゲームで、ほとんどの人がそれをプレイしていました。それが私の最後のゲーム経験です。
Nintendoのゲーム機はあまり人気がなかったですね。ごく一部の人たちがプレイしていましたが、なぜかよくわかりません。それに、テトリスも非常に人気があり、誰もが自分専用のテトリスを持っていました！
あなたが先生から隠れてゲームをする話を聞いて、"Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai"というアニメを思い出しました。それは私も好きでした。

That’s a relief to me to hear that you’ve had a precious time in there. 
Yeah, my aim is getting old too. Man, time has been flying so fast. I still want to play some competitive FPS someday when I have had much time though.
World of Tanks, I wanted to play it but at that time my OCD was killing me so I couldn’t.
The Russian masterpiece! I love it.
Their own Tetris machines? Small handheld devices, I presume? Interesting.
I just remembered, when I was a 9th grader my classmates had a Tetris craze for one or two weeks. We played it on our mobiles 24/7. I wasn’t very good at it. I was always impressed and intimidated by the skills of my friends.
I’m not sure… recently I don’t play games much.
And there’re many favourites I have so I can’t choose just one.

And that Tamagotch in the pic, it’s Evee one, quite awesome.
Did the Pokémon craze happen in Russia as well?
When I was at kindergarten, there was a Pokémon madness all over my classroom. If you couldn’t recite the names of every Pokémon(151 at that time), you would be judged as a stupid. What a society it was.

I didn’t think we both played same kind of games when we were kids. Around 2000s kids were always like this? Now I realised we lived in a globalised world.

子供のころ、ロシアでは日本から来たものは何でもすごくクールで人気がありました。ポケモン、音楽プレーヤー、テクノロジー、日本の車。みんな実は一緒だったんです。ちなみに、私の猫を時々「マネモン ポケモン」と呼んでいます。

以前、スープが自動販売機にあるとは思わなかった。
1300円とはなかなか値が張るね。
